Fly over Stockholm

The beautiful Swedish capital prides itself on being open to anyone and everyone. A curious city, eager to try anything that is new, anything that’s different. Stockholm is called the Venice of the North because it consists of many bridges, canals and other waterways. The city has a varied architecture, from very modern to very old. The city center is medieval. Söder Torn, on the other hand, is very modern, as is the Johanneshov district. Stockholm's main attractions are Skansen Open Air Museum, Drottningholm Palace (on Lovön Island), Stockholms Slot Royal Palace, Maritime Vasa Museum, Skogskyrkogården Cemetery and Djurgården Island.

Just around the corner you’ll find Stockholm’s archipelago which consists of 30,000 islands, 200 of which are populated. Even though the distance to the capital from these islands is relatively short, the lifestyle seems a million miles away from the hustle and bustle in the city.
